Anders AI:
Empowering Human Rights with AI for Peace
Anders AI was born from my passion for peace studies, human rights advocacy, and my training in AI from Impact Academy and the House of Innovation. With my background in international relations and human rights, combined with my passion for AI, I saw the potential for AI to support organizations defending human rights and promoting justice. These organizations are doing vital work, and I wanted to help them use cutting-edge technology to amplify their impact.
The Vision Behind Anders AI
Anders AI aims to bridge the gap between technology and peacebuilding. Many human rights organizations protect vulnerable communities but struggle to access modern technology that could enhance their work. My goal is to ensure these organizations have the skills and tools they need to use AI effectively.
Anders AI directly contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by fostering transparent and inclusive institutions, and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, by giving marginalized voices a platform. We also align with Goal 4: Quality Education by increasing AI literacy in civil society.
My Role and Approach
As the founder, I lead Anders AI's efforts to make AI accessible for human rights work. I combined my knowledge in peace studies and human rights with my AI training to create a platform blending technology and social good.
My approach focuses on education and empowerment. Through workshops, consulting, and custom AI solutions, Anders AI helps organizations understand how to use AI in their work. My workshops demystify AI by breaking down complex concepts into practical, understandable terms. For instance, in collaboration with The Free Network, we tailored training to support their economic research and policy initiatives.
Future Goals
Looking ahead, Anders AI aims to expand by partnering with more organizations and building a global network of AI-empowered human rights advocates. I'm currently partnering with organizations like SIPRI, Civil Rights Defenders, and the Right Livelihood Foundation, and we plan to work with more groups globally to expand our impact.
