PACS Institute at the United Nations
As a committed peace entrepreneur, I have established a sustained presence at the United Nations, utilizing the PACS Institute’s special consultative status to advance initiatives that promote peace, human rights, and the responsible use of technology on a global scale.
Securing Special Consultative Status for the PACS Institute
Through a dedicated two-year process, I successfully registered the PACS Institute for special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This status represents a milestone in my commitment to global peace advocacy, enabling direct engagement in UN initiatives and expanding PACS Institute’s capacity to influence international policy through active participation in key forums and sessions.
Strategic Presence and Grounds Passes
My consultative status also grants PACS Institute representatives, including myself, grounds passes, ensuring a regular, strategic presence within UN facilities. These passes facilitate on-the-ground advocacy, where I contribute to high-level discussions and network with policymakers, amplifying PACS Institute’s role in shaping international human rights and peacebuilding policy.
Influencing International Dialogue Through Written Statements
With direct access to UN bodies like the Human Rights Council and ECOSOC, I submit regular written statements that highlight pressing peace and human rights issues, backed by in-depth research. These submissions allow me to address critical topics at the heart of PACS Institute’s mission and provide actionable recommendations to shape UN agendas and resolutions.
Organizing a Side Event at the Human Rights Council, Spring 2025
Furthering PACS Institute’s impact at the UN, I am in the process of organizing a side event at the Human Rights Council session in spring 2025. This event will convene experts, policymakers, and advocates to explore pioneering approaches to peacebuilding, with an emphasis on harnessing AI and technology for effective global interventions.
