Reframing Peace
Through my affiliation with The PACS Institute, which I founded, I published a peer-published research article titled "Reframing the Ontology of Peace Studies" in the Peace and Conflict Studies Journal in 2023.
The article explores one of the biggest challenges within peace studies: the lack of an agreed-upon definition of peace.
The article introduces a theoretical reflection on redefining irenology as the study of the social conditions that help sentience thrive. This new framework for the field linked concepts from evolutionary biology, neuroscience, and social science.
After publishing the research, I commissioned an Explainer Video to make my work more accessible to a broader audience.
To date, the article as been downloaded over 800 times and cited in 6 academic publications.
